November 8

USA - Tel Aviv

Depart USA for overnight flight to Tel Aviv. Dinner and Breakfast will be served on board.

November 9

Tel Aviv - Caesarea Maritima - Haifa - Stella Maris - Mount Carmel - Tiberias

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, we will meet our local tour guide and immediately depart for Caesarea Maritime, the city and harbor built by Herod the Great and the place where Peter baptized the Centurion, Cornelius and his household. We will visit the Amphitheater, the Crusader fortress and the Aqueduct. It was from this harbor that the apostles sailed to evangelize the world.

We will continue to Haifa to visit Stella Maris, the ancient Carmelite monastery dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Our priest will celebrate Holy Mass in the church which is built over the cave where the prophet Elijah lived and you will have an opportunity to be invested with the brown scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.  Then, we will travel to our hotel in Tiberius. Lunch and Dinner.

November 10

Mount of Beatitudes – Sea of Galilee – Tabgha - Capernaum

After breakfast we will travel to the Mount of Beatitudes by the Sea of Galilee overlooking the Jordan Valley.  Then we will visit Tabgha, where the multiplication of fish and loaves occurred and the Primacy of Peter where Jesus appeared to his disciples after the Resurrection and appointed Simon Peter to the office of the Primacy with the words “Feed my sheep.”  Our priest will celebrate Mass at an outdoor altar next to the shore of the Sea of Galilee.

Then we will proceed to Capernaum where Jesus began his public ministry and see the remains of an early Church, the ruins of Peter’s house and the ancient Synagogue.  At dusk we will board a fishing boat and set sail for Tiberias. We will spend two hours in Eucharistic Adoration while our priest will conduct a Healing Prayer service as we cross the Sea of Galilee in the dark. Just imagine spending two hours with our Lord while listening to the very waters he walked upon. We will return to our hotel in Tiberius.  Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

November 11

Mount Tabor - Nazareth - Cana

After an early breakfast, we will drive to Mount Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration of Jesus before Peter, John and James, where our priest will celebrate Mass at the Basilica of the Transfiguration and we can reflect on the divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ… and begin to prepare our hearts for the eventual trip into Jerusalem and the remembrance of the Passion. After lunch we travel to Nazareth and visit the Grand Basilica of the Annunciation where the Angel Gabriel visited Mary in the solitude of silence. Very close by, we will visit St. Joseph's Church which is built over the cave that served as his workshop where he taught the child Jesus his trade. Then, we travel to Cana, where Jesus performed his first miracle by changing water into wine at the bequest of His mother and we can meditate on how we too, can "do whatever he tells you". In Cana, our priest will perform a marriage blessing for those couples wishing to participate. Then we return to our hotel in Tiberius. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

November 12

Bethlehem - Shepherd's Field - Milk Grotto

After breakfast we leave the Sea of Galilee and drive to Bethlehem where we visit the Basilica of the Nativity. Here you can kneel and reverence the very spot where the Christ Child was born. We will celebrate Holy Mass at the Church of St. Catherine. Afterwards, we can walk to the Grotto of Our Lady. Tradition holds that Mary and Joseph stopped here during their flight to Egypt. This site is special to all parents struggling with fertility and praying for the blessing of children. After lunch, we will visit Shepherd's Field where the Angel of the Lord proclaimed the good news of the birth of the Savior. Then, we will drive to our hotel in Jerusalem. After dinner, we will have Adoration at the Church of the Agony at Gethsemane. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

November 13

Bethany – Jericho - Baptismal site - Dead Sea

After breakfast we visit Bethany, the town where Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. Here our priest will celebrate Holy Mass. We then drive to visit the Qasr El-Yahud baptismal site on the River Jordan, which the Vatican recognizes as the authentic site of the baptism of Jesus. Here we renew our baptismal promises. Then, we travel to Jericho and ascend the Temple Mount by cable car. This is the site of the temptation of Christ during his 40 days in the desert. You may enjoy the rest stop or you may choose to attempt the tough climb up to the monastery built in the side of the mountain. After lunch we will drive to Qumran and the Dead Sea, where we can float on the mineral-rich water. Return to our hotel in Jerusalem. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

November 14

Mount of Olives – Gethsemane - Mount Zion - St. Peter in Gallicantu

After breakfast, we begin this day driving to the top of the Mount of Olives, for a majestic view over all of ancient and modern Jerusalem, the center of the biblical world. We visit the Pater Noster Church and the Chapel of Dominus Flevit where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. Then we walk the "Palm Sunday Road" to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations (Basilica of the Agony), where Christ prayed on the night of His betrayal (Luke 22:40-46). Here we will celebrate Holy Mass. After lunch, we will visit the Upper Room, and Dormition Abbey on Mount Zion. Then, we will proceed to the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu (Palace of Caiaphas), where Jesus was held the night before his crucifixion. We will have Adoration at this holy site. Return to our hotel in Jerusalem. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

November 15

Old City - Via Dolorosa- Holy Sepulcher - Judgment Hall - Pool of Bethesda

Today is a walking tour within the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem. We will start out very early this morning, so that we can walk the Via Dolorosa (Way of the Cross) before dawn from Pilot's Judgement Hall to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. We will visit the site of the crucifixion of Christ where you will have an opportunity to kneel in reverence and place your hand in the very hole where Christ's cross was placed in the ground on Good Friday. You may also want to wipe precious oils on the stone where Christ was anointed before his burial. We will also enter the tomb where Christ was buried… it is from this same spot that he was resurrected that first Easter morn. Our priest will celebrate Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. After lunch we will return and tour Pilot's Judgement Hall and then visit the Pools of Bethesda, where Jesus healed the man who had been crippled for 38 years (John 5:2-9), and the Church of St. Anne where there is an opportunity to sing a hymn before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

November 16

Wailing Wall - Ein Karem - Emmaus Nicapolis

After breakfast we drive to visit the Wailing Wall which is the only remaining remnant of the Temple in Jesus' time. We then go to Ein Karem, the "city of Judah" associated with the life of St John the Baptist. Here we will visit the Church of John the Baptist (built over the site of his birth) and the Church of the Visitation, where Elizabeth first greeted Mary, the Mother of her Lord, and where Our Lady first prayed the Magnificat. Our priest will celebrate Holy Mass at the Church of the Visitation. After lunch, we drive to Emmaus where Jesus appeared after his death and resurrection and the disciples recognized Him in the breaking of the bread. Return to our hotel in Jerusalem. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

November 17

Amman - Mount Nebo - Madaba

Check out of the hotel in Jerusalem for an early departure to Allenby bridge so we can cross to Amman, Jordan. We board our motor coach and meet our Jordanian guide, then proceed to Mt. Nebo where God granted Moses a view of the promised land but told Moses he would not enter. After lunch we visit St. George Church at Madaba where the mosaic floor represents the oldest map of Palestine (560 AD) in existence. We then go to our hotel in Petra, Jordan. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

November 18

Petra - Jerusalem

After breakfast, we will visit city of Petra established in the 4th century BC, which is famous for its rock carvings and water conduit system. After lunch we will return to the Allenby Bridge and back to Jerusalem for the night. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

November 19

Tel Aviv - U.S.

After an early breakfast, we check out of the hotel to transfer to the airport and our flight home.

January 21

Depart USA for overnight flight to Tel Aviv. Dinner and Breakfast will be served on board.

January 22

February 1

Holocaust Museum – Chagall – Windows

After breakfast we will visit (Yad Vashem) the Holocaust Museum, Israel's official memorial to the victims of the Holocaust. After lunch we will proceed to Haddassah Medical Center to see the world famous, Chagall Windows. We will have the rest of the day free before we depart in the evening for the airport in Tel Aviv for our overnight flight back to the USA. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

February 2

Tel Aviv - USA

After an early breakfast, we check out of the hotel to transfer to the airport and our flight home.
